Flooders own the search vocab: DonutSMP flood, flood war, Team Flood. Drainers show up when someone needs land back. This page is our voice on clearing water after water and ice flying machines covered chunks. Two honest tools: sponges for small fixes, and flying drain machines built from observers, pistons, and slime-style movers for ocean clear. We do not publish schematics, block counts, or downloads. Unofficial drain guides elsewhere may host files; we will not rehost them. Flooding still does not speed the border.
Sponges first
For rooms, tunnels, and small grief pockets, sponges are the boring win. Dry a volume, wring / cook sponges per your version rules, repeat. Bring more than you think. Flooders win TikTok; sponges win basements. If the water source is still feeding from a machine upstream, sponge work is temporary until the feed stops.
Flying drain machines (idea only)
Large oceans need automation. Community drain designs usually combine observers, pistons, and slime-family blocks into a flying machine that advances while clearing water (sometimes with sponge payloads or sand/gravel styles depending on the design). That is the concept. We will not paste a schematic, poll, or block shopping list from another site. If you need a file, look at unofficial drain guides that host schematics; we only explain why people build them.
We also will not teach flood machines, ice machines, TNT dupers, or ESP. TNT duping is on for economy chaos; that is a market story, not a how-to: after the flood.
Border reality check
