Getting started
Searching “how to join DonutSMP” should land on a checklist, not a maze. Here is the address, edition notes, and what to do once you are in: plus where Money and checkout fit later.

Open Minecraft Java on a 1.21.x-compatible build. Multiplayer → Add Server → Server Address: donutsmp.net. Save, then Join. If the list shows outdated, update the client before you assume the IP is wrong.
Large SMPs use regional proxies. If the server asks you to pick a region, choose the one closest to you: that is how latency stays playable for worldwide players.

Play → Servers → Add Server. Address: donutsmp.net. Port: 19132. Name it whatever you like. Console platforms sometimes need extra steps to add external servers: check the official DonutSMP Discord if your platform blocks custom IPs.
Bedrock shares the same world as Java. Expect some UI differences. Your Minecraft username (IGN) is still what shops and players use to find you: see what an IGN is.

Read /rules. Use /rtp (or the RTP zone) to leave spawn. Gather wood and stone, dig a hidden starter hole, /sethome so you can return. Check /bal: it will be empty until you sell or get paid. Full first-day path: DonutSMP starter guide.
When you eventually want currency without grinding the Auction House, our listed rate is $0.10 per 1M on /buy-donutsmp-money. Official staff can punish RMT. We do not claim buying is allowed. Discord for this shop: discord.gg/JVCpE9TGmP.
DonutSMP Exchange is an independent storefront. We are not affiliated with Mojang Studios, Microsoft, or the DonutSMP server. We do not claim that buying here complies with DonutSMP rules or that real-money trading is allowed. You decide whether to buy. We handle payment, delivery, and support.
