As of Wednesday, October 7, 2026, the newest public numbers from the community flood tracker on donut.auction are from its September 30 scans, and they show the flood war is not over. On that day, 55.06% of random teleport (RTP) scans had flooded terrain in view, the highest daily reading since the tracker started on August 7. The tracker has not published a newer daily scan since September 30, so these are the latest numbers anyone can check publicly.
No new official DonutSMP update or border change was confirmed overnight. This is a data check, not a patch note.

The tracker reports two different things, and they are easy to mix up:
So "55% of RTPs" does not mean half the world is underwater. On Sep 30 the flooded area estimate was 2.73% of scanned overworld ground.
The share hovered around 49 to 51% for most of September, then climbed for three days in a row at the end of the month. All-time totals across about 858,000 scans sit at 45.79% of RTPs and 2.25% of area.

Ranked by flooded RTP share, about 2,300 scans per region:
If you start fresh and want drier land, Oceania and West were the least flooded regions in the last public scan. EU Central was the worst by a wide margin.
