DonutSMP client mods & anti-cheat (Sep 23, 2026): what public rules actually ban
On Sep 23, 2026, DonutSMP still has no confirmed brand-new patch note. The useful public fact for today is how client modifications and unfair-advantage rules actually read on the community wiki: hacked clients, ESP, radar, freecam, macros, auto-clickers, and No Mining Cooldown are banned. There is no public whitelist of every permitted QOL mod — ask official support before you assume a feature is fine.
Public wording lives on donutsmp.wiki/client-modifications (stamped Sep 6, 2026) and donutsmp.wiki/pvp (stamped Sep 7, 2026). Soft background: account linking (Sep 22), crystal PvP (Sep 20), TPA traps (Sep 19), and the starter checklist (Sep 11).
Explicitly prohibited categories
Client modifications are changes to a player's Minecraft client. On DonutSMP, modifications that provide an unfair advantage are prohibited by the official Server Rules. The wiki summarizes Terms of Service verified in September 2026. It does not classify every mod by name.
The official terms list these prohibited client features:

| Other unfair-advantage mods | Catch-all: a feature can be banned even if its exact mod name is not written down |
The last row matters: a feature can be prohibited even if its exact mod name is not written in the rules.
Automation and input tools
Macros, scripts, and auto-clickers are prohibited. The same list names mouse tweaks and scrollers. An external program, mouse setting, or client-side utility is not automatically allowed just because it is not packaged as a Minecraft mod.
Crystal PvP does not create an exception. Soft link: crystal PvP kit (Sep 20) already notes that macros and forbidden mods stay banned in a fight.
Visual and information advantages
Health indicators, radar, ESP, and freecam can reveal information that is not normally available through standard gameplay. These features are explicitly prohibited whether or not they move the player or interact with blocks.
That is the same hygiene idea as TPA traps (Sep 19): extra information you should not have is still an unfair advantage, even if nobody instantly reports you.

Checking an uncertain modification
The official terms do not provide a public list of every permitted mod. If a client feature is not clearly covered, disable it and ask official DonutSMP support before using it on the server.
