On Sep 11, 2026, a DonutSMP join still drops you into wilderness — not a spawn plaza. Your first hour is stash, /sethome, then Money lanes — not a sightseeing /rtp loop.
First-hour checklist
- Land + look. After /rtp, move off the open pad. Scan for nearby players. Pick a hide spot before you AFK. Spawn is still gone — this is wilderness, not a hub. Background: how players start now.
- Stash early. Dig a tiny dirt hide. Drop a chest for tools and loot. Do not walk with your whole net worth.
- Bed + /sethome. Plant a bed and set home before the first death. A death without a home is a wipe of progress. Command list: donutsmp.wiki/commands.
- Money lanes. Open /ah search and /orders before liquidating farm stacks. Treat /sell as the instant lane that starts at 1.0×. Do not
- Do not spam /rtp hoping for “better” rim chunks. RTP stays inside a fixed smaller range even if a future border goal is vanilla ~30M. RTP vs world border.
