Sep 19, 2026 · Survival safety
On Sep 19, 2026, DonutSMP still has no confirmed brand-new patch note. The useful public fact for today is the community wiki pairing of TPA safety and base security: teleport requests can yank you into a bad spot, and no base layout is documented as permanently raid-proof on this semi-anarchy server.

Public wording lives on donutsmp.wiki/tpa-commands, donutsmp.wiki/base-security-guide, and donutsmp.wiki/about-donutsmp (check each page’s own last-updated stamp). Soft background: starter checklist (Sep 11), homes & Donut+ tiers (Sep 17), and hard assets vs /bal (Sep 18).
The About DonutSMP wiki page describes the server as public semi-anarchy Survival. Gameplay centers on base-hunting and Crystal PvP. Bases are framed as high-risk, high-reward: with a crowded map relative to the player count, many bases are found and raided within days to about a month. That is not a claim that your base will fall on a timer — it is the public risk model. Soft background: border expansion is still announced-not-live (Sep 12), so denser RTP-side territory remains the default hunt zone in public clips.

TPA Commands (/tpa, /tpahere) request travel between players. The wiki safety line is blunt: accept a teleport request only from a player you recognize, and only when you understand the destination risk. A request can move you away from a safe location. Do not use teleport requests to evade current combat restrictions or other Server Rules — the PvP page also flags combat tags and command restrictions as live-config items to verify in-game.
Practical desk rule: if you do not know them, deny. Strangers do not need a free warp into your stash.

The Base Security Guide covers risk reduction without promising a permanent safehouse. Public tips include:
| Public tip | Desk note |
|---|---|
| Pick location with travel, visibility, and world-border conditions in mind | Dense RTP-side territory is still the default hunt zone while the expand stays announced-not-live |
| Do not publish coordinates, screenshots, or map details that leak a valuable base | Hide coords — a clip or screenshot can be enough |
| Separate everyday supplies from the most valuable storage | Split storage so one leak or raid does not empty everything |
| Treat existing spawners as priority loot when stored or moved | Closed supply (Sep 16) — cages do not come back from /shop |
| Preserve private evidence after an incident | Use official support channels when a report is appropriate |
Existing spawners are closed supply (Sep 16) — treat them as priority loot when stored or moved. No base is guaranteed safe. Server updates, information leaks, and player behavior can change any design’s risk profile.
This page is not a trap tutorial, not a claim that land claims exist, and not a new flood or border announcement. Flood heatmaps stay on the public-trackers article (Sep 15). Hard assets like elytras and spawners still need liquid Money planning (Sep 18) — a wiped base does not refund /bal.
If you need starter Money after a wilderness /rtp, donutsmpexchange.com is the fast delivery lane — it does not replace careful TPA hygiene or smart stash habits.
