DonutSMP after spawn removal: how players start now
Search still asks where DonutSMP spawn went. The August note still holds: spawn was deleted. Public update explainers quote the owner line as wanting a Minecraft world, not a network lobby you /spawn back to. This page is the September start loop, not a new raid story. Join, /rtp, hide a stash, /sethome, then grind /ah and /orders. There is no spawn plaza to camp. There is no spawn shop. The flood war is still flooders vs drainers on the map, not a spawn siege.
The start loop that replaced /spawn
- Connect at donutsmp.net on Java or Bedrock (Bedrock port 19132). Pick a nearby region if the server asks. Full checklist: how to join DonutSMP.
- Read /rules before you fight or stash valuables.
- Leave the arrival area with /rtp. Community beginner notes and our own spawn guide treat random teleport as the way into the world now. Public update clips also say the old teleport countdown is gone; confirm live if a cooldown still sits on RTP.
- Get wood, food, and a cheap weapon. Hide a chest. Then /sethome so a death does not dump you into nowhere. Longer path: spawn is gone.
- First Money is player markets, not a spawn vendor. /shop was removed. Search before you list: /ah and /orders. Travel later with homes and Elytra.
Command names can shift by season. If a leftover /spawn alias still exists, do not expect a plaza. August background: why /spawn is gone.
Flood tracker status (no invented %)
A public community flood tracker still sits at donut.auction/floods. The page describes Overworld RTP samples, daily estimated flooded area, a last-24h regional flooded-RTP ranking, and a heatmap of 2,500 × 2,500 block cells. It does not publish one official server-wide flood percentage, so we are not inventing one. The 32–43% “map underwater” band from August stays labeled rumor on our border leak page.
Labels are unchanged: Team Flood, Team Drain, Team Ice. Owner line is unchanged: flooding does not speed the ~30M vanilla-size border; it burns developer time on lag. Owner says no. August 29, 2026 as a drop date remains an unconfirmed leak. We are not announcing a new ship date.

Money after the plaza died
Public clip explainers keep repeating the same grind after spawn and /shop left: sell surplus on the Auction House, fill buy orders, then farms. That matches our money-making methods and after the flood notes. Wet chunks make farms ugly; markets still print if you search before you dump a stack. We do not publish flood-machine, ice-machine, TNT-duper, or sniper-addon how-tos.
