DonutSMP week in review (Oct 4, 2026): trading checklist, join tip, flipping
On Oct 4, 2026, DonutSMP still has no confirmed brand-new patch note. This desk is not official DonutSMP staff. This page is a digest of the public-wiki explainers published here from Sep 30 through Oct 3. Crates remain archived, and the world border is still announced-not-live. The last week-in-review on this hub was Sep 29. This one is a new digest, not a reprint.
What changed on the desk this week
None of these lines is a new Oct 4 patch note. Each one points at a public-wiki explainer already on this desk.
- Oct 3. Trading checklist. Before you accept, verify the item, quantity, enchantments, durability, contents, and timers. Real-money trading is not allowed. Public wiki: donutsmp.wiki/trading-checklist. Desk write-up: trading checklist (Oct 3).
- Oct 2. How to join. The address is donutsmp.net, read the rules, and the five-account limit still applies. How to join (Oct 2).
- Oct 1. Flipping means buy low and sell high. Profit counts only after both sides of the trade complete. Flipping guide (Oct 1).
- Sep 30. Support portal. Tickets go through support.donutsmp.net. Link the Minecraft account with /link codes. The public estimate is 24–48 hours. Support portal (Sep 30).
Four explainers, still the useful set
- Trade: confirm item, quantity, enchantments, durability, contents, and timers before you accept. No real-money trading.
- Join: donutsmp.net, the rules, and the five-account limit.
- Flip: buy low, sell high. A spread is not profit until both sides complete.
- Support: support.donutsmp.net, /link codes, 24–48 hour estimate.
Read flipping (Oct 1) and the support portal (Sep 30).
Crates stay archived. The border stays upcoming.
Crates remain archived. The Sep 28 note still stands: crates and crate keys are history.
The world border expansion is still upcoming, date TBA. Public wiki: donutsmp.wiki/world-border-expansion (last updated Sep 7, 2026). June 2026 prep notes exist on that page. No live expand is confirmed. Flooding does not speed it. donut.auction/floods is a JavaScript chart and does not publish one official map-wide percent this desk can quote.
Prior desk notes: border expansion status (Sep 12), does flooding expand the border, and the flood war explained.
