DonutSMP week in review (Sep 29, 2026): crates archived, sell routing, voice chat
On Sep 29, 2026, DonutSMP still has no confirmed brand-new patch note. This desk is not official DonutSMP staff. Today’s page is a digest of the public-wiki explainers published here from Sep 22 through Sep 28, plus the border status that remains announced-not-live. What changed on the desk this week
None of these lines is a new Sep 29 patch note. Each one points at a public-wiki explainer already on this desk.
- Sep 28. Crates removed/archived. Public wiki on donutsmp.wiki/crates: crates and crate keys are history. Desk write-up: crates removed (Sep 28).
- Sep 27. Proximity voice uses Simple Voice Chat. Moderation may keep evidence clips up to 12 months. Proximity voice chat (Sep 27).

Money loop still the same
Nothing replaced the three lanes:
- /ah = ask
- /orders = bid
- /sell = floor
Check /orders before you dump a farm stack. When a compatible Order pays more, /sell can fill that Order first. Read sell routing (Sep 25) and Auction House vs Orders.
Crates are history
Keys and /warp crates are archived. The public wiki marks crates and crate keys removed. Current shards are still 1 shard every 10 minutes of playtime, and shards can also be purchased from the official DonutSMP store. This page does not invent a new rate.
Border status
As of mid-September the vanilla-size border is still announced-not-live. This week did not confirm a live expand. Flooding the map does not speed that expansion. There is no official flood percent to quote here. Full status: DonutSMP border expansion status (Sep 12).
