On Oct 3, 2026, DonutSMP still has no confirmed brand-new patch note. The useful public fact for today is the Trading Checklist on the community wiki. Player trades still need a verify-before-accept loop: item, quantity, enchants, durability, contents, and timers, before you accept. This note is that face-to-face window. It is not a buy-low sell-high market plan.

Public wording lives on donutsmp.wiki/trading-checklist (last updated Sep 7, 2026). The wiki calls it a practical sequence for reviewing a DonutSMP player trade. Page status there is Current, under player-to-player trading.
That sequence is separate from the Oct 1 flipping guide, which is buy-low and sell-high across the Auction House and Orders, and from Sep 24 shulker selling, which is container contents on /sell routes. Today’s desk note is the trade window itself.
| Step | Check | Desk note |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Confirm the exact item and quantity | The name in chat is not the item in the window. Count stacks and partial stacks separately. |
| 2 | Check enchantments, durability, names, contents, and timers | A worn tool, a different enchant set, a custom name, or a nearly expired timer is a different product. |
| 3 | Compare market prices and active Orders | Use the Auction House and /orders as a comparison. This page does not publish live prices. |
| 4 | Calculate the unit price | When one payment covers many items, divide the total by the quantity you are actually receiving. |
| 5 | Use only permitted in-game value | Real-money trading and cross-server payment are prohibited on the public wiki. |
| 6 | Keep enough inventory space | Empty slots for the full quantity. A full inventory can complicate the transfer. |
Market comparison means the Auction House ask and the Orders bid you can see in game, not a number from chat. How those two systems differ is on Auction House vs Orders. How /sell can meet an Order is on sell routing (Sep 25). Neither page is a live price table, and this one does not add one.
Unit price is the same idea the inventory guide states for a payment that covers many items: one total divided by the quantity you receive. A cheap-looking stack can be expensive per item. Do not treat a chat total as the unit.
The checklist’s value rule is permitted in-game value only. The wiki says DonutSMP prohibits real-money trading and cross-server trading. Do not move an in-game trade to PayPal, cryptocurrency, gift cards, another server, or an external gambling system.

Space rules sit on donutsmp.wiki/inventory-management-guide (last updated Sep 6, 2026). A full inventory can complicate a transfer. Make space before you accept, then verify the final item count immediately afterward.
| Prep | What the inventory guide says |
|---|---|
| Empty slots | Keep enough empty slots for the complete quantity before you accept. |
| Similar items | Separate stacks that look alike but differ in enchant, durability, name, or timer. |
| Containers | Check what is inside before you move a box. Contents are part of the item. |
| Unrelated valuables | Do not carry extra high-value gear into a trade you do not need it for. |
| After the window closes | Confirm where the received items appear, then verify the final count. |
Leaving extra valuables at the base is the same habit as base security (Sep 26): split everyday supplies from the items you do not need on you. That page is storage habit, not a claim that any base is raid-proof.
The wiki’s during-trade line is short: read the complete interface before accepting. If any item, amount, or condition changes, stop and review the offer again. The inventory guide adds the same point for player trades: inspect the final interface rather than relying only on chat.

Read every slot the window shows, including the side you are giving. A change after you looked is a new offer. Stop, then check item, quantity, enchants, durability, names, contents, and timers again before you accept.
The checklist calls out three cases that need a slower read. None of them is a live price.
Spawners. The wiki says no new spawners are currently obtainable. Verify that an existing spawner is actually being transferred, and compare equivalent types. Closed supply is the Sep 16 spawners note: ownership can change, and the public docs do not describe a fresh drop method. A cage in chat is not proof the cage is in the window.
Timed shard items. Check the remaining lifespan. Amethyst tools and the one-day timer are on shard items (Sep 21). A nearly expired tool is not a fresh one, even when the name matches.
Containers. Inspect contents where the supported interface allows it. Shulker boxes on a sell route are a different flow — the empty box coming back is the Sep 24 shulker note. In a player trade, what is inside the box is part of what you are accepting.
A chest of those items is still not liquid balance. Hard assets vs /bal (Sep 18) is why unsold gear and /bal are different piles.
The trading checklist points at DonutStats for DonutSMP Auction House information and price history. The same page says these are independent communities, not official DonutSMP support. Use that history as a comparison, then read the trade window you are actually in.
A listing is an asking price until a buyer completes it. An ask on the Auction House, a number in chat, or a screenshot of yesterday’s history is not a completed trade. The Oct 1 flipping guide uses the same rule for resale: profit counts only after both sides finish. This page does not repeat that market plan and does not invent a current price.
If you need starter Money after a bad trade or to restock without a long grind, delivery from this shop is fast — chat stays open.
This page is not an official DonutSMP page. It is not a live price table. It is not permission for real-money or cross-server trading. Mood art on this page is not a trade UI screenshot and not official staff media. It is not a border update and not a flood update. The checklist steps come from the public wiki pages linked above, last updated Sep 6–7, 2026. There is no confirmed brand-new patch note for Oct 3, 2026.
