As of Sunday, October 25, 2026, there is no confirmed new official DonutSMP event. Public posts from October 23–25 in the clip mix were fan videos: trap and base-rating clips, hacker-catch clips from a different creator's own server, and a YouTube video about players doing things behind the scenes. None of those is a staff rules post. This page does not name players, quote a clip, or treat a title as a ban. The useful piece for today is a fair-play FAQ built from public pages this desk could actually open.

The wiki pages used below still carry September 6 or September 7, 2026 dates. That includes server rules, client modifications, account limits, bugs and exploits, and the support portal note. Those pages say they summarize the official DonutSMP terms checked in September 2026. They also say the official store terms remain the authoritative wording, and that rules can change.
On this October 25 check, the store host did not return the terms text. It answered with a Cloudflare challenge, so this article does not quote a live terms page it could not read. Two shorter wiki URLs, donutsmp.wiki/rules and donutsmp.wiki/commands, returned 404. A punishments page, an appeals page, and a FAQ page at the obvious wiki paths returned 404 as well. What did load, and what is newer than the September wiki stamps, is the privacy policy at privacy.donutsmp.net, last updated October 9, 2026. Where a detail is missing from these pages, it is left out.
The September 23 client-mod note already walks the prohibited-mod list. This page is the wider player FAQ: accounts, duping, chat, real-money risk, reports, and appeals. It is not a new patch note.
The client-modifications page says modifications that provide an unfair advantage are prohibited by the official server rules. The terms list it summarizes names these categories. A mod does not have to appear by its exact name to be prohibited.
The same page says there is no public list of every permitted mod. If a feature is not clearly covered, disable it and ask official support before you use it on the server. An old video, another player's client, or the fact that nobody banned you yet is not proof that a mod is allowed. Rules and detection methods can change.
On June 19, 2026, that page says the DonutSMP team identified No Mining Cooldown as a prohibited fast-break cheat. The PvP page (last updated September 7, 2026) says current server rules and anti-cheat behavior take priority. Its June 2026 notes also say Quick Buy could not be used in combat, and that the shard pickaxe being unavailable in combat was intentional. The October 20 PvP checklist is the gear list. This FAQ does not add a combat rule those pages do not state.
The October 9 privacy policy says DonutSMP runs real-time client integrity checks on connection and during play to detect unauthorized modifications, and it gives cheat clients as the example. Those checks are done in memory. The policy says the check results are not stored. It also says the server records the client name and version from the most recent join, and uses that to help detect unauthorized clients. The policy does not publish a detection rate or a ban length.
Players ask about x-ray by that name. The client-modifications page fetched today does not contain the word. What it does name, under visual and information advantages, is health indicators, radar, ESP, and freecam. Those features are prohibited whether or not they move the player or touch a block. The closing category is any other modification that provides an unfair advantage.
A texture pack or mod that reveals ores, chests, or players through terrain is an information advantage of that kind. Treat it as something to leave off unless official support has told you that specific pack is fine. This page will not invent a separate x-ray sentence the fetched list does not have, and it will not name a pack or a player.
Macros, scripts, and auto-clickers are prohibited. The same list names mouse tweaks and scrollers. The client-modifications page says an external program, a mouse setting, or a client-side utility is not automatically allowed just because it is not packaged as a Minecraft mod. Crystal PvP does not create an exception on that page. If you are unsure, turn the feature off and ask support before you log in with it.

The account-limits page (last updated September 7, 2026) says a player may not use more than five accounts. The page calls that a cap, not a recommendation to operate five. It says the terms do not publish a separate device, edition, or membership limit on that page. Different usernames do not, by themselves, make accounts unrelated. DonutSMP's enforcement note on the page says punishments may extend to associated accounts.
An alternate account should not be used to continue activity that is restricted on another account, or to avoid an enforcement action. The October 9 privacy policy says the server uses the data it keeps to prevent abuse, cheating, harassment, and ban evasion. It also says a device identifier recorded when a player verifies a Minecraft account on the DonutSMP website is used to detect ban evasion and alternate accounts. This FAQ is not a guide to making accounts look unrelated.
Two other account rules sit on that same page. Impersonating staff is prohibited. So is attempting to discover or use the server seed. The seed rule covers the attempt, not only a successful lookup. The longer account note already on this site is the September 22 linking and five-account page.
The bugs and exploits page (last updated September 6, 2026) says players may not knowingly use a bug or glitch to gain an advantage, and that bugs and exploits have to be reported. The item-duplication page (last updated September 7, 2026) says both attempted and successful duplication are prohibited. A failed attempt is still prohibited. Do not keep testing a suspected method, ask another account to try it, or move the items around to see whether they stick.
Items or currency tied to duplication should not be sold on the auction house, placed into orders, handed to another player, or hidden on another account. If something unexpectedly copies an item, the duplication page's own steps are: stop repeating the action, keep the affected items separate and do not trade them, record the approximate time and what you did, report it through official support, and follow staff instructions. Do not publish a reproduction guide.
That page also says there is no fixed punishment listed for every duplication case. Enforcement depends on the circumstances. A low price alone does not prove an item was duplicated, so a public accusation should not be made without evidence.
One historical line is easy to misread, so here is only what the page says. On June 16, 2026, the DonutSMP team stated that carpet dupers do not work and that item duplication is not allowed. TNT duplication was documented separately as an enabled vanilla-style mechanic in that update period. It was briefly disabled for a fix and later restored. The page says support for that TNT mechanic does not authorize copying inventory items, exploiting rollback behavior, or using an unrelated duplication bug. Current server rules are the ones that apply. This article does not explain how to build any of those machines.

The real-money-trading page (last updated September 6, 2026) says real-life money trading is the exchange of DonutSMP accounts, items, currency, services, or access for real-world value outside official DonutSMP channels. The official server rules prohibit it. The restriction applies to buyers and sellers. An agreement between the two people does not make the trade allowed.
The server-rules page lists the related economy bans in one place: real-money trading outside official DonutSMP channels, cross-server trading, and external gambling, plus selling or buying accounts, items, currency, services, or access outside those official channels. Cross-server trading can break the rule even when no real-world money is involved. A normal in-game trade, auction-house listing, or order that stays inside DonutSMP is the contrast those pages draw.
The real-money page says purchases offered directly through the official DonutSMP store are official server transactions. A page is not official just because it uses the server's name. Outside transactions do not have the protections of the in-game systems. Do not share account credentials, payment information, or personal information with another player.
The community-service-safety page (last updated September 7, 2026) says independent communities are not official staff, support, or store services. It says not to use real money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, cross-server items, or external gambling for unauthorized DonutSMP transactions. For official account, moderation, privacy, or purchase support, it points to support.donutsmp.net.
The scam-reporting guide (last updated September 6, 2026) is the reporting checklist, not a promise that staff will restore items. Stop further transfers or payments. Keep the other player's exact username. Save original screenshots, recordings, and the date, time, item, quantity, and agreed terms. Then use the support portal or the official reporting route. Do not retaliate or harass. A public call-out can expose unrelated information and can interfere with a review. A report does not guarantee restoration, reimbursement, or a specific moderation outcome. The October 6 account-security note and the account-security guide add the login side: staff do not need your password or authentication code, and a DonutSMP-specific account problem goes to the support portal.
The fetched rules pages do not publish a separate sentence that every in-game trade trick is either legal or illegal. This FAQ does not add one. What they do prohibit, in the words above, is the real-money, cross-server, and external-gambling side, plus staff impersonation. If a deal asks you to leave the in-game systems, stop and read those pages before you send anything.
The server-rules page says spamming proximity voice chat is prohibited, and that harassment, threats, and disruptive behavior are prohibited. The chat-moderation page (last updated September 6, 2026) says the published terms do not list every word that can be moderated. Context matters. It also says players should avoid impersonating staff, spreading exploit instructions, or using chat to arrange a transaction the economy rules prohibit.
The October 9 privacy policy says the server does not store all in-game chat by default. If a message triggers an automated chat or toxicity filter, that message may be kept for moderation, along with the time and an account identifier. Voice uses Simple Voice Chat. The proximity-voice page (last updated September 7, 2026) and the privacy policy agree that audio may be processed in real time, that recordings are not kept by default, and that a relevant segment may be stored as evidence of harassment, threats, or another rule violation. The published target for those recordings is up to 12 months, or longer when the clip is tied to an active ban, appeal, or dispute. The September 27 voice note is the longer explainer. Exact distance and volume are not published. Check them in game.
The same privacy policy says moderation records include ban history and mute history: status, a reason label, timestamps, and a duration when one applies. It does not publish those durations. A chat problem can be a mute. This page will not invent a number of hours or a ladder of offenses.
Report it through the official path. Do not chase the player, do not try to punish them yourself, and do not turn a clip title into a public accusation. The support-tickets page (last updated September 7, 2026) says a rule report should include the relevant account, an approximate time, and the evidence you have. Do not edit that evidence in a way that changes its meaning. For a bug or exploit, describe the issue without posting steps other people can copy.
Open the report at support.donutsmp.net. The server-rules page says players should use official support channels for a rule violation, a bug, or an exploit. This site's commands guide documents an in-game /rules command for reading the rules. On October 25, donutsmp.wiki/commands and donutsmp.wiki/rules both returned 404, so this page does not confirm the spelling of a separate in-game report command from a live wiki page. If the server's own rules screen or help menu shows a report command, use that screen. The in-game menu is the one to trust when a public command list is offline.
The server-rules summary says DonutSMP may suspend or terminate accounts, remove virtual items, and take other enforcement action. Punishments may extend to associated accounts. The terms, as that page summarizes them, say enforcement decisions are final unless DonutSMP explicitly provides another review or appeal process. No punishments ladder loaded today. The duplication page is explicit that there is no fixed public punishment for every case.
The public place to open a ticket is the support portal. The support-portal wiki page says players open tickets and track requests at support.donutsmp.net, and that the portal states most tickets are answered within 24–48 hours. That figure is a displayed estimate, not a deadline. The September 30 support note is the step-by-step for signing in and linking Minecraft with /link. Keep a linking code inside that official flow. A useful ticket, from the portal and support-tickets pages, includes the Minecraft username and UUID when they matter, a clear description, an approximate time, and only the evidence the case needs. Never post a password, a payment-card number, or an authentication code.
The October 9 privacy policy mentions appeals as a reason some records can be kept longer, including an active ban, appeal, or dispute, and a report investigation. It does not publish a form, a timer, or an unban rate. If the portal cannot be opened, the support-portal page lists support@donutsmp.net as the alternative it shows when the portal is unavailable for a purchase problem, and the privacy policy lists the same address for privacy requests. Start with the portal. This page is not an appeal, and it cannot tell you the outcome.
One public item that is still open today is not a rules change. Viewer voting for The Streamer Awards 2026 is still running, and DrDonut is nominated for Best Minecraft Streamer. The October 18 nomination note has the public details. Voting runs through October 31, 2026 (November 1 EST). This FAQ does not change that vote.
/rules in game. The commands guide lists that command. The September wiki summaries are a reading copy, not a replacement for the live rules screen.Checked on October 25, 2026 and not used as sources, because they returned 404: donutsmp.wiki/rules, donutsmp.wiki/commands, donutsmp.wiki/punishments, donutsmp.wiki/appeals, and donutsmp.wiki/faq. The official store terms host did not return readable terms text on this check.
