DonutSMP week in review (Oct 26, 2026): Streamer Awards vote closes Oct 31, border still TBA, trap season and fair play
Monday, October 26, 2026. This digest covers October 19 through October 26. There is no confirmed new official DonutSMP event this week. A re-check of the public world-border page today still lists the expansion as Upcoming, date TBA, last updated September 7, 2026.

What public posts showed
Public posts on X from October 24 through October 26 were fan clips: traps, bounty defenses, base ratings, loot drops, and players reporting or clipping cheaters. Some players mentioned lag. This page does not quote those posts. A clip is not a staff ruling, a confirmed ban, a new bounty rule, a price list, or a lag measurement. There is no public staff incident note for the lag mentions.
Desk notes from this week
None of these lines is a new October 26 patch note. Each one points at a note this desk already published between October 20 and October 25.
- PvP prep, October 20. Carry gear, food, and an escape plan, and leave valuables at home. The June 2026 notes still ban No Mining Cooldown, block Quick Buy in combat, and keep the shard pickaxe out of a fight. Teams were removed on June 2, 2026, so set a meeting point first. PvP prep checklist.

- Border expansion, October 24. Still not live. The October 24 note and a fresh look at the public wiki on October 26 both say Upcoming, date TBA, last updated September 7, 2026. A later border change would add terrain. It would not, by itself, move /rtp. Do not plan a base around a date nobody has announced. border expansion status. Streamer Awards vote
DrDonut is nominated for Best Minecraft Streamer at The Streamer Awards 2026. Viewer voting runs until October 31, 2026 on thestreamerawards.com. Winners are announced at the show on November 12, 2026. The nomination is a streamer category. It is not a DonutSMP server patch. The October 18 note has the public timeline.

The Halloween season is ongoing. No end date has been announced.
What to watch next week
Things to watch, not predictions. No forecast of a date, a winner, or an end time.
- A border announcement. Watch for an official post that either sets a date or says the expansion is live. Until that post exists, the status stays the October 24 and October 26 line: not live, date TBA.
- The Streamer Awards result. Voting closes on October 31. The result is announced at the November 12 show, not guessed here.
- A Halloween end. Watch for an announced end date. None is announced on October 26, 2026.
A short checklist
- Read the trap note before you loot a stash you did not build.
- Leave valuables at home if you are heading into PvP.
- Compare startup and risk before you commit a session to one money method.
- New or returning: do the two-hour starter list before you chase a clip.
- Do not build around a border date that is still TBA.
