DonutSMP week in review (Oct 19, 2026): Streamer Awards vote, border still TBA, Halloween with no end date
Monday, October 19, 2026. No brand-new official DonutSMP patch note that we can verify from public sources this morning. Here is what moved on the server and around it between Oct 12 and Oct 18, with links to each desk note.
We are not official DonutSMP staff. Links below go to our own dated notes. The previous digest on this hub was Oct 10.
What landed this week
None of these lines is a new Oct 19 patch note. Each one points at a note this desk already published.
- DrDonut nominated for Best Minecraft Streamer. The Streamer Awards 2026 posted the Best Minecraft Streamer nominees on X on Oct 16: realkatieb, feinberg_mc, DrDonut099 and ashswagin. Public voting runs Oct 16 to Oct 31 on thestreamerawards.com. Results weigh about 70% viewer vote and 30% panel, and the show is Nov 12. The nomination got plenty of reactions on X. We are not quoting individual posts. Full desk note: /news/donutsmp-drdonut-streamer-awards-nomination-oct-18.

Not a live screenshot and not official staff media. - World border expansion: still TBA. The public DonutSMP wiki page still lists it as Upcoming, date TBA, last updated Sep 7, 2026. We re-checked that page on Oct 19. Do not build your whole plan around a date nobody has announced. Full note: /news/donutsmp-border-expansion-status-oct-12. - Halloween: still no public end date. As of our Oct 15 check there was no public end date. Treat pumpkin-head drops as limited time. Week-later note: /news/donutsmp-halloween-week-later-oct-15. Original drops note: /news/donutsmp-halloween-pumpkin-mobs-oct-8.
- Farm limits before any expansion. The creeper cap, item frames, and hopper speed limits from the June 2026 update still shape which farms are worth building. Full note: /news/donutsmp-farm-limits-oct-16.
- Shard Shop playtime math. The wiki rate is about 1 shard per 10 minutes of playtime, so convert any shard price into hours before you grind for it. Full note: /news/donutsmp-shard-playtime-math-oct-17.
- Getting around and selling. Elytra still beats /rtp spam after spawn removal. Orders let buyer bids pay for farm stacks when /shop prices are thin. Travel note: /news/donutsmp-elytra-travel-oct-14. Orders note: /news/donutsmp-orders-guide-oct-13.

Not a live screenshot and not official staff media. - Flood tracker. At our Oct 15 check the public progress API still showed Sep 30 as its last daily scan. We will update when a new scan appears. Full note: /news/donutsmp-flood-tracker-oct-7.
- What to watch this week. Streamer Awards voting closes Oct 31. Watch for any border date, and for a Halloween end notice.
