Updated November 1, 2026. A one-page recap of DonutSMP in October 2026. There was no single giant update. Each section below links to the full article published at the time.

It is November 1, 2026, so here is the whole of October on DonutSMP in one place. There was no single giant update. Instead the month was a mix of a Halloween mob event, steady flood and border watching, a few rule and farm-limit questions, a streamer awards vote for DrDonut, a shift in what public clips call the money meta, and, in the last week, a run of fake "verification" Discord scams. Each section below links to the full article we published at the time.
Public clips in early October showed pumpkin-head mobs that could drop diamonds, iron, coal and pumpkins. We covered what the clips showed and a short farm test, then checked back a week later on how the event played out.
On October 7 the public donut.auction scan (from September 30) found water in view at 55% of random teleports, with EU Central the worst region at 77.7%, while the share of area actually flooded stayed under 3%. The world border expansion was checked on October 12 and again on October 24, and it was still not live, with the wiki date still TBA. Nothing we have seen since then changes that, so treat any "border is open" claim as unconfirmed until it shows up in game.
Mid-month questions were mostly about farm limits. Older June notes cite a 2,500 creeper cap and 1,500 item frames, while public sources on hoppers conflict, so the safe advice is still to check in game before building big. The October 27 roundup of public YouTube clips pointed at spider eyes, cobbled deepslate, powered rails and snow farms as the grinds people were talking about, alongside our broader money-making methods list from October 21.

On October 18 DrDonut was nominated for Best Minecraft Streamer at The Streamer Awards. Voting closed on October 31, and the winners are due to be announced on November 12, so the result is the first thing to watch this month.
October also had a lot of safety reading. We published a fair-play FAQ on cheats, macros, duping and the five-account cap, a trap awareness guide, and a scam evidence checklist. In the final days of the month, public X threads warned about Minecraft Discord servers that allegedly use fake "verification" bots to collect a Microsoft email and a sign-in code, and about "money per invite" offers. None of those servers are official DonutSMP servers. The rule stays simple: never give anyone a Microsoft code, and join the server only through donutsmp.net in Minecraft.

October 2026 on DonutSMP was a month of small changes rather than one big patch: a Halloween event, the border still on hold, a new grind meta, an awards vote and a scam wave to stay clear of. Bookmark /news for the November updates.
